Grandstream HA100

For IP PBX UCM6510, the Grandstream HA100 redundancy module is available. It needs two UCM6510 (one main and the second backup) to increase the fault tolerance. When a problem arises or the primary PBX fails, the backup schedule automatically switches all external connections to the backup for 10 to 50 seconds.

The HA100 model is a way to automatically transition to a backup system in the event that the IP PBX UCM6510 fails. When connected to two UCM6510s, the HA100 continuously monitors the operational status of both UCM6510s and, in the event of a main UCM6510 failure, switches the system control (including all connected telephone lines, network connections, additional devices, and all SIP terms that were registered to the main UCM6510) to the backup UCM6510.

It can complete a system transition in 10 to 50 seconds, depending on how many registered SIP endpoints there are. The ideal high-availability system for the UCM6510 is the HA100 because it can automatically switch to a standby system in the event of a breakdown and provides maximum overall reliability and system availability.

Grandstream HA100 is a failover solution for the Grandstream UCM6510 IP-PBX. For less-important installations, HA100 is installed between two UCM6510 units and continuously assesses their operational status. If the primary UCM6510 fails, HA100 will immediately transfer control of all SIP devices connected to the UCM6510 to the backup IP-PBX. The entire switching process takes no more than 10 seconds.
